It's time to get ready for the Deadwood Saloon Annual Poker tournament so don't be a coffee boiler and get your saddle, put on your best bib & tucker, grab your pistol, a good bottle of whiskey and pony up.

The latest gossip in Deadwood:

*Rumor has it that Henrietta High Stakes has been seen visiting the jail quite often-could she be spending time with an outlaw or does she have an interest in Sheriff Sam?

*Everyone in Deadwood knows that Billy the Bartender is a ladies man but there seems to be some question with his bookkeeping skills at the saloon as he seems to always be sidetracked with the attentions of Sally Star, Taffy Garrett, Minnie Money, a few other nameless women of Deadwood.

*The latest scuttlebutt about why Black Barbara and Jesse Whales are in town has everyone curious especially Marshal Dalton who has a close hand on his pistol and claims by hook or crook to throw them in the hoosegow if there is any trouble.

*Banker Bob has had better weeks considering his bank was just robbed and he is determined to get his dinero back, in the meantime his wife Banker Bonnie feels like she has been getting the mitten by her husband and will become a four-flusher if need be to get his attentions.

*Mitch Maverick, Montgomery Money, Elizabeth Money & Minnie Money are all visiting Deadwood and have traveled from the east for the Poker tournament. The Money's are known to be Ace High. Mitch is a known businessman but has people wondering if he is a bunko artist due to his recent winnings at the saloon.

*Harry Highstakes as the owner of Deadwood saloon is known as flannel mouth and has recently been seen having several meetings with Gambling Jack and his wife Anna Belle. Jack is known to have a little too much who-hit john sometimes and in the past has caused quite a shindy.

*Poker Alice is now working for Harry Highstakes at the saloon and is always a sound on the goose to see the saloon thrive.

*Holly Hickock is visiting from the south. She is right as a trivet and the townspeople wonder why she is such a good poker player.

*Clay Coldwell is a long time resident of Deadwood and rumor has it that has been bending an elbow with Mitch Maverick lately whom he just met and everyone is a little balled up.
